Early April, light showers with sun breaks - Spring in the Northwest!

My nephew (Colin McDonald standing in yellow) and brother-in-law (Kevin McDonald) are two of the crew in the sailboat in this picture.

Sailboat races take place on a regular basis on Liberty Bay. Today it was overcast at the time of the race with very little wind. At times the boats seemed suspended in time but after the turn the spinnakers went up and it looked a little more like a race.

Liberty Bay is narrow enough to get decent pictures from shore. I have a whole series of kids sailboat camp races, also on Liberty Bay.
