Do you have an account on one of the many social networking sites?
I missed My Space. I know it's still there and bigger than ever but I didn't jump in when it first started and never quite got around to it.
I have a profile on Facebook and love it for keeping up with friends and especially some of my younger relatives and former students from my mentor group.
I also set up a page for KitsapImages.com on Facebook and I check in almost daily. This blog is automatically updated on the Facebook profile so others keep up with me - all in one place.
LinkedIn is the site I'm finding most interesting these days. I opened an account a couple months ago and have reconnected with people I have worked with over the last 30 years going back to working in Washington DC. LinkedIn is more of a professional networking site without all the whistles and bells and games and such of My Space or Facebook.
My brother wanted us all to meet in Second Life. I have an identity there, but I haven't been back since the first couple times looking around.
This is hardly a review of the many social networking sites online and I didn't even mention the dating sites; Match.com, etc where some of my friends have found "true love" and/or had some rather entertaining experiences.
This is more a gentle reminder to people of all ages that there is a site for you out there, a way to stay in touch with friends and find some of those you have lost touch with.
There is a link to the right to my LinkedIn profile and you can easily go to Facebook and look me up. Try it - check out both of my profiles and leave me a message on those sites. You might decided to stay and create your own profile.

I have my photos in flickr.com (mostly the ones I just want to share with friends and family) and then I discovered a Seattle flickr group at MeetUp. That's probably my favorite place right now because of the way it connects people with similar interests who live in the same area.
BTW--love your blog!
Thanks for the blog comment!
I have a Flickr account, just don't use it. I am spread a little thin with work and personal blogs, websites, photography business and a full time job but I agree that Flickr is a good place to share photos and I'll have to check out the Seattle Flickr group as well. Thank you for the tip.
