NEW Museums website for Kitsap

The Kitsap Heritage Roundtable has changed its name to Kitsap Heritage Council and launched a new website - http://www.museumskitsap.com/.


The site is basically a link to all of the museums and other heritage resources but will allow the group to continue their collaborative marketing efforts. Everyone linking to the new site, and the new site linking back to everyone grows the number of people who will more easily find Kitsap's many wonderful museums.


A couple years ago they did a brochure together and for $250 each, were able to print 25,000 brochures which were distributed in all of the museums, on the ferries and in visitor centers. Individually, $250 wouldn't go far, but together they had impact and won an award for collaborative efforts along the way.


The website, and an ad that will run on the ferries directing people to the website, is just another step by a group that "gets it" - collaboration works!
