Seattle's Glasshouse Studio

For years, going back to when I bought art for a corporate art collection, I have stopped in the Glasshouse Studio whenever I'm in Pioneer Square.

Part of the attraction is the wide variety of glass art available in every price range.

There are some rather impressive and expensive examples of Seattle glass art as well as some nice quality "souvenirs" and gift items. I've bought many corporate gifts there and have gotten good discounts on quantities. (This was a few years ago so you may need to check on the "discount" part)

The gallery is FULL of color and fancy and is a joy on a gray Seattle day, or any day.

Another great attraction is the "artists at work" area in the back where you can watch some of the glass art being created.

This "hot" area also warms the gallery on those cold wet days. You can watch, and also talk to the artists as they create some of the items you can buy.

SUGGESTION: In the far back of the store there is a "seconds" section of the gallery which has some great finds. I always check it out.
