We are visiting Bremerton this week and want to do some low tide exploring; willing to drive a bit. Can you tell me the best places for my California nieces to see all the low tide has to offer. I know that there are some good low tides later next week. Thanks.
I think that low tide at Point No Point is one of the best places because of the long, open public beach.
There are also the State Parks and Illahee State Park is close to Bremerton. Scenic Beach State Park is on the other side of the Peninsula in Seabeck. There are also city and county parks.
A good place to find more ideas is www.VisitKitsap.com. Under "things to do" there is a section on parks. If it is on the water, you'll find things to enjoy at low tide!
