I spent two days this last week at Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat.
I have heard about the retreat for years, since it was first built and I have checked it out once but this is the first time I have stayed there.
I was there for the Washington state Watchable Wildlife Conference, which is really more of an Eco-Tourism, or Geo-Tourism Conference. I have been attending this conference for 5 years and each year it improves.
This year was probably one of the best conferences I have ever attended. The speakers were excellent and the agenda flowed well. The content was strong and right on target. There were take-aways from each of the speakers.
The location was perfect for the subject matter and the numbers were perfect for the discussions.
Photos are of some of the art at the conference center and the first photo is the semi-rare White Headed Woodpecker.
