Wikipedia
I'm always looking up something on the internet - today it was Humpback Whales which were seen in front of our house earlier this week. I wish I had seen them but only heard about them after.
Anyhow, I use Wikipedia much of the time, or when I search Wikipedia comes up with the answers. I donated. If you use Wikipedia as much as I do think about donating as well.

Comcast TV Filming "My Home Town" in Poulsbo
Comcast Television is in Poulsbo filming the TV Show "My Home Town" with host Dorothy Wilhelm.
Above the crew at Valley Nursery staged a Christmas workshop making many of the items that will be offered in their holiday classes.
This 30 minute, commercial free, show will be featured all month in December and will be available "on demand" for three months as well as running now and then in reruns for up to 5 years. Comcast cameraman gets Paula Anderson ready for her interview.
Andrea Rowe at Marina Market in downtown Poulsbo talks about some of the unusual food items she stocks. The Licorice Shrine with over 300 varieties of licorice will be featured.
Erica Varga talks about the history of Poulsbo from the Martinson Cabin Museum.
Marcia Breece at Morgan Hill Retreat holding one of her chickens and talking about her move from corporate life to Poulsbo country life.

A few of Morgan Hill Retreat residents trying to figure out what is going on.

Sylvia Jones at the Jones Tree Farm shares tree selection and cutting tips.
And this is just the beginning! The crew will return on Tuesday, November 11th to continue interviewing and filming.
If you would like to join the show - head to Liberty Bay Waterfront Park in front of the Sons of Norway on Tuesday, November 11th at 12:00 noon. Join the High School marching band, the Norwegian dancers and hundreds of others from Poulsbo to film the opening sequence of the show. Everyone will gather as a group and give a hearty shout "Welcome to My Home Town - POULSBO!"
What's next? The Key Peninsula was recently filmed and is showing on TV this month. Suquamish is tentatively scheduled to be featured and we are pitching other Kitsap communities. All communities featured must have Comcast Cable service.

NEW Suquamish Dock Is Open
The NEW Suquamish dock was blessed and opened November 3rd!
It's been a while since Suquamish had a safe dock and this one is solid - some referred to it as a "forever" dock. The eldest tribal member was wheeled down the dock first.
And the crowd followed.
Looking back at the new longhouse under construction from the dock float.Take a drive, have some Pizza or other wonderful meal at Bella Luna, and walk out to the end of the dock - the views are amazing!
