I have this sculpture of a crow on my deck (right) and have noticed crows stopping by and talking to it on occassion. This morning I was able to grab my camera and get some pictures. The crow carried on quite a long conversation, dancing around as it talked.
It seemed to be wondering why the metal crow didn't want to fly away and play with the other crows.

Great shot! Where did you get that metal crow? My husband would love it.
The crow artist is local and I've seen them around but most recently at Raven Blues in Poulsbo. They are downsizing their space and all art is on sale so a good time to check them out.
I just loved watching them out there talking - it would have made a great video!

I am an avid "corvidophile" and this image made my week. There is a pair that are nesting in the Doug Fir in front our our house here in Portland. I watched them come and go with my morning coffee today.
