There are so many critters to bark at Abby is either on guard, or sleeping. It can be a tough day watching for all the deer, antelope, BUFFALO - Wow they are big, Prairie Dogs - so many! and everything else we keep passing along the way. Cows and horses are getting routine but still deserve a "woof" now and then.
Hotel life is good. Abby settles right in to the basic roadside motel or the cute cabin on the water.
The routine is that Abby and I are up around 7AM and take Abby out for a walk. We get ready, pack and go and then try for a mid morning stop where Abby can get a good run. Stopping at lunch, mid afternoon and any other opportunities that present themselves. Once we stop for the night it all depends on where we are but Abby gets at least a final walk after our dinner. She eats in the room, usually after we are asleep.
Abby would love to chase . . . anything, the cat that taunted her outside the window this morning, those fast antelope or those little prairie dogs that stand up and tease her. All those smells, all those animals. It just isn't fair.
