Seattle's Pioneer Square Flowers

Walking from the ferry to FX McRory's for a lunch meeting I couldn't help but admire the flower baskets.  All of our communities are doing a wonderful job these days providing us with spectacular displays of colorful flowers hanging in baskets from light poles and walls.
At each corner there were more flowers and in early September they are at their peak.

Crossing Occidental Square I found the patient employee who daily keeps the flowers watered and looking amazing, unlike my one lone hanging basket in my garden that I didn't manage to keep alive despite hanging within feet of the water hose.  I admire this guy.
