They're back!

Our eagles come and go during the year, usually following the food, or temporarily frightened away by the 4th of July noise.  In this case the baby raising was over and they were following the food but they are back and I assume that means the salmon are as well.

It's been a noisey return with a lot of chirping and calling.  I was so excited when I heard that first call and went outside to see our old friends.

This particular eagle has been in my blog a few times.  This is the only eagle that sits in this particular tree and has been using it as a landing spot since it was a fledgling.

Hello! Fantastic picture of the bald eagles coming back to Washington. I've shared it on the Kitsap Sun Newsgarden here, with the link back to your blog:

However, as always, I wanted to make sure it was okay to use the photo. If not, I will take it down. Thanks!
